Region 14 ESC, STEM
This event aims to inspire younger students to come and work through tasks, challenges, and experiences that require them to think, imagine, research and explore and then have opportunities to communicate that to an audience. We want to spark that curiosity and encourage critical thinking. This event is designed specifically for advanced learners in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. This year’s theme is FAIL-A-BRATION!

How It Works
-
Arrival: Arrive at your designated time slot. Students will check in and get to meet a children’s author. This year’s author is Brad Montague! We will be exploring his book Fail-A-Bration.
-
Rotation: Students will rotate through four different STEM challenges related to the book. They will spend approximately 25 minutes in each room of Celebration.
Lunch Expectations:
Please note that lunch will not be provided at the event. Students will need a sack lunch and will have lunch time as part of the event schedule.
Cost:
Ticket pricing is set at $2 per student attendee. Teachers and administrators can attend at no charge as long as they have their district ID badge. Chaperones for the schools also attend at no charge with badge identification from the school.
We do ask that a purchase order (PO) be completed and emailed prior to the event. Payment is NOT required prior to the event as long as a valid PO has been submitted. Invoicing will take place during the week following the event.
Chaperones:
To maximize the interactive and hands-on learning experience, students will be divided into groups for each engaging station. This format allows for closer supervision and ensures that each child has ample opportunity to participate actively in the exciting challenges and activities. We kindly request that you provide a chaperone for every ten students attending from your class. Chaperones will play a vital role in assisting students during activities.
Please let me know if you have any questions! Hope to see you there!
